Announcing
Intel® Dialogic® System Release 6.0 CompactPCI* Feature
Pack 1 for Windows* and New Intel NetStructure™ Boards
Intel®
Dialogic® System Release 6.0 CompactPCI* Feature Pack 1 for
Windows* (SR 6.0 cPCI FP1 for Windows) was approved for release
on September 27, 2004. This product includes the introduction of
two telephony boards as well as several key feature enhancements
for existing board families.
The
new boards are:
Intel®
NetStructure™ IPT10000C IP board – 1,000 G.711 ports
extending the density range of the IPT family of boards from 120
to 1,000 ports.
Intel
NetStructure DMT160TEC digital telephony interface board –
Starts with the same 16-span ISDN-PRI interface features as the
DMN160TEC and adds tone generation, detection, signaling, Call
Progress Analysis, and ANI/DNIS identification.
Peripheral
Hot Swap is now supported on five CompactPCI hardware platforms
and Redundant Host is supported on Intel® NetStructure™
ZT5085/ZT5524A-1A (Dual CPU) and ZT5085/ZT5524A-1B (Single CPU).
Both features require Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.
Feature
Pack 1 facilitates application debugging through enhanced trace
management that gives developers more control of diagnostic sessions
and enables easier collection of application and system information.
High
availability improvements include configuration and restart of individual
trunks plus notification to the application of network alarm conditions
by the Global Call Alarm Management System (GCAMS).
For
voice over IP platforms, this release adds several new API functions:
H.323
- Call transfer, access to more parameters and data fields
SIP
- Fax re-invite and SIP-T support
RFC2833 - Enhanced management of DTMF tones

systems supported are:

2000 with Service Pack 4 (Professional, Server, and Advanced Server)
Windows
2003 Standard and Enterprise editions
Chinese versions of Windows 2000 SP4 and Windows 2003
Overall,
SR 6.0 cPCI FP1 for Windows targets projects that need higher density,
higher availability, and faster application development for CompactPCI
systems.
